Funny how hard it is to find original erotic art work on the web. It took me a couple of days to find this one, and I looked moderately. Most of it is cartoons or now the computerized 3d. Some drawings and very little paintings. Thank you for creating this venue!

I have been expressing myself in the visual arts all my life and professionally for over 25 years. In fine art the erotic seen is very unacceptable and frowned on if you even come close to sexuality. As a figurative painter and sculptor I was always concerned (and my customers) about not touching in this area. I feel this is a grave mistake as an artist for many reasons that I can elaborate on in depth - maybe some other time.

As an artist, I feel, it is my responsibility to portray humanity in all its splendor if I am incline to do so. That includes, if not especially sexuality. I would guess that 98% of the human race loves sexuality. But we do not want it on our walls? When most of the people I know come over to my house, 'to be professional' I remove my erotic paintings and sculpture.

I do not want to sound like a whiner, I know this can be a touchy subject. But I do love sexuality and I feel that we all need to spread the love.

Well. I can think of much worse things to put on my walls than a beautiful painting of a couple making passionate love to each-other.

I would be thrilled to be able to own one of your works and display it in my living room. You are right to "portray humanity in all its splendor" - especially if you feel inclined to do so. And I think that an artist like Circe is also very right to portray the full beauty of the vagina in her lovely paintings.

I am only an amateur when it comes to painting but, when the work on these websites settles-down a bit and I have some more time for painting; I have every intention of trying my hand at some erotic art - and even some out-and-out porn art.

Here's a painting that I proudly hang in my living room. It's not immediately obvious that it is a very erotic piece of art - unless you actually look at the thing - but I just love it. (I guess that I have some hidden fantasy or deep-seated desire to be a bejeweled and splendidly-clad warrior - with an equally splendid 'tool' and a pair of balls to be proud of!!)

Wow, that's a trip. I can see this painting invoking many different ideas and feelings.

Ya, you should try a hand in porn art. It has been liberating for me, by intentionally not doing it all these years, it was an itch that was being scratched. Lots of my paintings and sculpture teetered on the edge, but to all out let it flow was cool.

Oh ya the paintings Circle uploaded are great. I bet it was liberating for her as well.

And thanks for the love of hanging one of my porn paintings on your wall. If I left even one of the lesser erotic paintings up on my wall in my house, some family members of mine would let me have it and never let me forget. Not to mention some of my more prudent customers.

Oh well... I reckon that 99% of the fun of art, is in the making of it. If anyone wants to see what you produce, or even buy it - then so much the better! But the main thing is that you feel liberated in producing the art that you want to produce.

By the way, I am thinking of, at some stage, introducing a classified ads section to this site. It's early days yet but, if the site ever takes-off in terms of traffic and the number of members, it might be a worthwhile venue for artists to advertise their erotic art for sale?

Roger the 99%!! And the rest is as true as it can be.

classified ads section sounds interesting - I would use it. There is no way that I can sell porn art around here and still maintain a good reputation. There is a good market in erotic original art if you are inner circle. These circles are in the big cities. If it does sell off the net, Google is blocking it from searching.

OK, I'll see if I can expedite the classified ads section.

The site is about two years old and it has only very recently started to attract a few new members. I don't have an advertising budget - I just upload whatever content I can, to my various different websites - and wait patiently for the traffic to start building. As more and more members come in, the thing will eventually reach some kind of critical mass and start to roll along on its own...

At the moment, this particular site still has a very long way to go!

That Sounds cool I do not charge hundreds of dollars for my paintings on small cotton canvas, so it may go over well. They are so fun to do, I can paint them fairly quickly.

If there was a way to add caption to the little painting I already uploaded, they would be better listed in the future for you.

I cannot remember how I was referred to this site. But I do remember it was buried.

Build it and they will come.

When you are logged-in and you are viewing an image that you have uploaded, you should see a button labeled "Mod Options?"
If you click on that, there should be a drop-down menu. One of the items should read, "Edit Image?"

I say, "should" because that is what I see as an admin - but then you should be able to do the same things as any admin with your own images?

I haven't got around to registering an ordinary members account yet. I really need to do that at some stage - just to try these sort of things out from a members stand-point.

Please do let me know if you have any problem editing your image captions and descriptions and I will make further investigations!
